Terms & Conditions



1.       All bookings attract a $20 non-refundable booking fee.

2.       Full rental monies and Security Bond are payable in advance.

3.       Keys to the Rental Premises will not be released until all Rental Monies have been paid in full in advance.

4.       The Security Bond will be refunded to the guest by the Booking Agent upon satisfactory vacation of the Rental Premises.   Queenscliff & Coastal Holidays reserves the right to withhold funds from the Security Bond and/or debit guests provided Credit Card details should the property not meet satisfactory standards for compensation of arranging a professional cleaner, breakages, damages and cost of tradesman.

5.       With telephone, website and/or postal bookings, the description of the Rental Premises by the Booking Agent is made in good faith.  The Booking Agent will accept NO responsibility for misdescription of the rental premises.

6.       All properties are booked for private, residential usage, unless there has been written consent given by the Agent/Landlord.  The number of occupants must not exceed the number of beds provided, or the number of guests agreed to by the Agent/Landlord and guest (whichever the lesser).  If we are advised that the property is being overcrowded you will be asked to vacate immediately.

7.       Prices may be subject to change without notice, however any monies received for rental on a property is considered a confirmed booking and therefore the price as stated in the Rental Agreement  will not change.

8.       We strongly recommend a guest inspects any Rental Premises prior to making a booking.  If a guest is unable to inspect the Rental Premises in person they are required to have a representative inspect the property on their behalf.  Failure to inspect Rental Premises in person or have a representative to do so on the guests behalf shall be deemed to be satisfactory inspection of the rental premises upon making a booking.  Receipt of deposit and/or full rental monies by the booking  agent shall be deemed to be acceptance of the suitability and the satisfactory meeting of the guests requirements.

9.       Occupancy Times are from 3 pm on the commencement day of the booking and ending  at 10am on the final day of the booking.  The check out time must be strictly adhered to and the keys deposited in the letterbox of the Rented Premises.  An additional fee may be levied for Guest’s who do not vacate the Rental Premises on time.

10.    Guest requiring a late check out must request this at time of booking and additional late check out fees apply. A $50 fee applies for check out times to 12pm and $115 up to 2pm check out. Check out times after 2pm will incur a fee equivalent to 1 days rent.  Late check outs are not available over summer or for back to back bookings.

11.    All Rental premises must be left clean and tidy ready for the cleaners to complete a sanitising clean and be ready for immediate occupation by the next guests. Each Rented premises is expected to be vacated in the same condition as it was received.  Failure to do so will entitle the booking agent to claim from the Security Bond for any costs incurred in returning the Rental Premises to a satisfactory condition.  All rubbish must be removed, the refrigerator emptied of all contents, beds tidied and dishes washed and put away.

12.    The Booking Agent reserves the right to terminate this agreement and request that the Rental Premises be immediately vacated without any refund to the Guest in the following but not limited thereto circumstances:- a)causing malicious or deliberate damage to the Rented premises or untidy conduct, b) being or causing public nuisance, excessive noise or any undesirable behaviour, c)accommodation of more persons than stated on Rental Agreement, d) ignoring warnings and/or requests from the Agent  and  e) continued breach of any rules set out herein.

13.    All damage, breakages and lost keys are to be reported to the Agent.  Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of keys to the Rented Premises.  A $50 fee will apply where spare keys have to be cut after business hours.  Guests will also be liable for any damage caused when doors have to be forced open and locks damaged to gain access to the Rented Premises.  Please advise our agency in writing of any faulty, broken items and excess rubbish immediately when occupancy commences.

14.    All reservations remain subject to the owners approval.  Reservations may be cancelled by the owner at any time, including reservations with a deposit.  Every reasonable endeavour will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.

15.    No Furniture or effects are to be removed from the Rented Premises during the booking and all furniture and effects must be left in the same position as at the commencement of the booking.

16.    A charge will be levied for the retrieval and forwarding of personal property left or abandoned on the Rented Premises.

17.    The Booking Agent does not accept responsibility for individual actions taken by the Landlord outside the Agents control.

18.    No guarantee is given regarding TV reception or performance.

19.    The Booking Agent will not be held responsible for failure of utilities and essential services such as electricity and hot water, should it cease to function.  However, upon appropriate notification to the Booking Agent, every attempt will be made for appropriate action.

Booking Conditions/Cancellations/Privacy Policy

 

 

1.       The booking is made in Good Faith by the Booking Agent but may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the Agents control.  The Agent does not accept responsibility where such circumstances arise.  Every reasonable endeavour will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.

2.       No pets are permitted at any property unless approval has been granted in writing by our office.  If a pet is found to be at the rented premises, you will be asked to vacate the property immediately and all necessary cleaning charges will be deducted from your bond.

3.       No Smoking.

 

Guests are required to supply their own linen unless otherwise stated.  This includes sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels and tea towels.

 

Payments/Cancellations:  Bookings require a 50% deposit payable within 48 hours of making the booking with balance payable before arrival.  Summer Bookings (Applies to all bookings from 1st December—31st January)  Require a holding deposit of $100, with the balance of a 50% deposit due on the 1st July and full payment due by the 1st December.

 

Special Conditions:

Dogs/Pets:  If the owners have agreed to allow you to bring your dog/pet they would appreciate if he/she could be kept outside whenever possible.  They are agreeable to allow him/her to sleep indoors on it’s own bedding.  Under no circumstances are dogs/pets allowed on furniture.  On vacating could you please check the yard and surrounds and make sure all droppings are disposed of and any holes filled.  Failure to do so may result in deductions from your security bond.  If pets have been on furniture owners reserve the right to have said furniture dry/steam cleaned at pet owner’s expense.

 

Cancellations:                                                                                    

All monies paid are non-refundable if you cancel or fail to use your booking, unless we can re-let the property for the same period.  In case of the latter, a $50 administration fee will apply.  Rental refunds are at the discretion of the Landlord.  Refunds do not apply where the guest has not inspected the property prior to making the booking and after the commencement of the booking states that the property does not meet the Guest’s needs.

Queenscliff and Coastal Holiday bookings respects the privacy of our Clients.  It is the Policy of Queenscliff and Coastal Holiday bookings, that all information collected by us about our Clients is private, and will not be used for anything other than the provision of accommodation and services as requested directly by the Client and/or to satisfy obligations under law.

 

Queenscliff and Coastal Holiday bookings does not participate in unsolicited advertising mail outs and any personal information collected about Clients, their accommodation or purchases will not be sold or given to 3rd parties for the purpose of unsolicited advertising sales, contacts or market research.
