In the Shortlands Beach Estate this lovely 2 storey/3 bedroom home offers relaxed holiday living in style and comfort. The main bedroom is downstairs and has a queen bed with an ensuite, while the other 2 bedrooms are upstairs along with the main bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 singles - with double sized doonas.. The front living area has a TV & DVD, with comfy leather lounge and the open plan living. The rear of the house consists of a large chef kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and gas cooker. The dining area and lounge open up with glass doors to the bbq deck. The livingroom also has a gas log fire. There is gas ducted heating and Wifi. A European laundry has a washing machine and dryer.
You can listen to the sounds of the sea while relaxing in comfort on your deck and the beach is an easy 2 minute stroll. You can unroll your beach towel and have a dip in the sea; and close by is the tennis & bowls clubs, the shops & restaurants.

PETS:
Dogs are permitted at this property for an additional $33.00 fee per pet. Please also bring your own dog bedding, bowls, towels etc. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.

LINEN:
Linen is not provided at this property but if required, can be added for an extra fee: or, you can bring your own sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels, bath mats & tea towels. The bedding configuration is: 2 x queen (queen sized doonas) and 2 x singles (with double sized doonas). Linen hire is available from our office but needs to arranged at least one week in advance. Linen packs cost $50.00 per pack per bed without bedmaking, or $75 with bedmaking.


HOW TO PAY FOR ANY EXTRAS:
If a fee needs to be paid separately because your booking has come through to our office from a portal such as AirbNb, booking.com, vrbo or homeaway/stayz, our office will need to provide you with our direct bank account details to pay the money into. If the booking is through our website direct, guests can choose this extra at the time of booking or call our office to ask to have the fee added to the tariff. Please contact admin@qchb.com.au if you would like to make any further enquiries.
Your credit card details will be retained as a Security Bond. A bond of $200 would apply to damage by dogs.


**Please be aware that Wifi signals in the Queenscliff & Point Lonsdale areas can at times be very weak, particularly in high peak holiday season. QCHB do not accept any responsibility on the speed or reliability of internet connections. Dongle hire is available from our office if required.

Blues Train Show

For something decidedly different & entirely enjoyable, Queenscliff's legendary Blues Train is one of Victoria's most spectacular dining and entertainment experiences. The Blues Train offers a unique musical dinner and show ideal for weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, Christmas celebrations and special occasions. The Blues Train is a licensed, over 18s only event. (Hens and Bucks nights are not permitted). The Blues Train event begins at the historic town of Queenscliff. Patrons tuck into a hearty meal prepared by our Blues Train caterers. Drinks to take on the journey are available on the platform from the T-bar in the guard's van, open at each of the four stops. At each stop revellers swap carriages to find a new band tuning-up ready for the next act. One of the carriages only has seating running along each wall. The seating arrangement and up-beat music in this carriage leaves little option other than getting up for a bit of a boogie. But you don't have to dig the blues to enjoy the Blues Train, you just have to be open to a really good time. The Blues Train runs along the old Geelong train line, stopping in turn at Suma Park historic homestead and winery, and then at Drysdale before turning around and making its way back to Queenscliff, again via Suma Park. It departs from and returns to Queenscliff Railway Station. Time: The bar opens at 6.30 pm. The event begins at 7 pm sharp and ends at 11.30 pm when the train returns to Queenscliff Railway Station. Queenscliff Community Market

Queenscliffe Community Market is held at Lower Princes Park with over 190 stalls with high quality items, handcrafts, home baking, clothes and more. Established in 1975 the QCM is run by a voluntary committee and has continuously operated on the last Sunday of the month from September to May. Stalls a purposely kept at an affordable price to attract innovative stall holders who sell high quality, handmade, home grown, produce, artworks and goods. The Market is a great place for many Queenscliff locals who catch up on market day, fundraising, shopping or just strolling. Local community groups have benefited from funding assistance.
