The formal dining room at the front overlooks Port Phillip Bay and is an ideal area to enjoy good company over a meal; it has glass doors to the front verandah where you can sit and watch the passing maritime activities. Equally fantastic views can be gained from the generous main lounge that offers very comfortable living with ornate decorative pieces and artwork, TV & DVD. The home is heated with gas ducted heating and also has an airconditioner in the living area with additional pedestal fans for bedrooms.
Clydesville offers loads of accommodation which makes it ideal for a girls weekend away, a multi- generational family get together, or just a catch up with a group of friends. It consists of five bedrooms - One with a king; 3 x queens; and 1 with 2 x king single beds. Arrive to find the beds already made up with Beautiful bedlinen and bathroom towels which are provided for you. There is a second living area which is a great space for the kids to catch up with a board game, or a movie and it also has a TV & DVD. The large kitchen and butler's pantry are situated at the rear and offer loads of space for entertaining with a more casual dining area. It's also linked to the bbq on the patio and the lovely rear garden. (An Nespresso Coffee machine is provided with a small supply of coffee pods).
This home has lots of nooks and crannies that will allow everyone their own space. The main bathroom has his & her vanities, inviting claw foot bath and separate shower. One of the queen bedrooms is ensuited, with a shower & WC; plus there is a third WC in the laundry area. A washing machine and a dryer complete the laundry services.
Recent landscaping emphasise the beautiful locale and facade of the period architecture, whilst the rear of the property provides for lovely gardens to enjoy bbq's and outdoor living. A large sliding rear fence gives access to carparking. It is well fenced keeping little ones secure.
Clydesville was built to impress with it's space and attention to detail. It is in a perfect location opposite the park & beach, and just around the corner from the shops & restaurants. While not far from the Churches, Golf Club, Blues Train and Harbour, it's ideal for Special Occassions. We are helping to keep our guests safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, allowing a minimum of 24 hours between bookings. We have also implemented contactless key collection and key drop off to further promote safe distancing. In addition, the property owners will provide extra cleaning and disinfecting products should you wish to use them during your stay.
Beautiful Bed Linen & Bathroom Towels, and tea towels are all provided - just bring your own beach towels. Please bring your own bathroom products - shampoo, conditioner and soap as these are no longer provided under covid.
Pets are generally NOT allowed. However, if you have a small dog that is very well behaved, it may be possible for your pet to come - upon prior application to the office.
Your credit card details will be retained as the Security Bond. A Bond of $2500 applies for the property only, and another $200 if you bring your dog. (See Terms & Conditions on this website).
Off street Car parking is via a rear lane entrance to the secure yard space from Gellibrand Street next to St Vincents. A fob is provided with the set of keys to access the rear gate.
A Request to have a small function:
Small functions of no more than 30 attendees will be considered upon prior application. A function fee of $1000 will apply if approved.
Any of the above extra fees will need to be paid separately if your booking has come through to our office from a portal such as AirbNb, booking.com, vrbo or homeaway/stayz. In this case our office will need to provide you with our direct bank account details to pay the money into separately. If the booking is through our website (www.qchb.com) guests can choose this extra at the time of booking or call our office to ask to have the fee added to the tariff. **There is wifi at the property. Please be aware that wifi signals in the Queenscliff & Point Lonsdale areas can at times be very weak, particularly in high peak holiday season. QCHB do not accept any responsibility on the speed or reliability of internet connections. Dongle hire is available from our office if required.
