Beach Haven is a peaceful, private executive luxury family holiday home conveniently located in popular "Old Point Lonsdale". It is only a 2 min level stroll to the Beach, shops and great restaurants, a 5 minute drive to Queenscliff and a 20 min drive to Geelong. This quality built holiday home has been finished with the latest mod cons including airconditioning, hydronic central heating system (for Winter), double glazed windows and security system. The sophisticated WiFi controlled home theatre system throughout home includes a 7 speaker system in the living room, 3 speaker system in the family room and multi room speakers in the kitchen and BBQ area. The living and family rooms have large LCD screens with a full Foxtel IQ package including movies, sports, news and documentaries, kids and family channels. The living and family rooms also have Blue Ray,DVD CD players,a Nintendo Wii (family room), Apple TV (living room), DAB radio, Air Play wireless audio, HDMI input (to bring your own game console) and high speed wireless internet. There are also TV's in the downstairs bedroom and upstairs main bedroom - these TV's do not have foxtel.
Beach Haven is a stunning open plan design incorporating a chef friendly gourmet kitchen with outdoor sundeck and courtyard with garden seating. A spacious 12 seat dining room and fabulous lounge opening to a generous Al Fresco undercover deck and BBQ area, including outdoor gas heating. Beach Haven includes 4 large bedrooms all with built in robes. The large downstairs master bedroom has a king size bed and boasts a separate ensuite bathroom, spa bath, large shower and heated towel rail. The upstairs accommodates a second bedroom which has a king size bed and adjoins the bathroom with large shower and heated towel rail.The two other bedrooms have 2 single beds in each room. There is a separate family room with refrigerator, sink, window seat and entertainment system - a great place to sit and read, watch TV or keep the kids entertained.
Beach Haven’s modern laundry contains a washing machine and clothes dryer with inside and outside drying lines as well as heated drying rack. The double lock up garage complete with surfboard rack plus an outside shower is testament to the thought put into this fantastic holiday home.
When the surf is up you are just across the road to the front beach or down the road from the back beach. In addition to the beautiful beaches, Point Lonsdale includes a kids park and BBQ area, lawn bowling and tennis club, a golf course and a fabulous boutique shopping strip with fine dining, fabulous eateries and quality gift shops. Nearby Queenscliff offers tours of the historic town and fort, a marine education centre, boat jetty, swim with the seals tours, fishing, diving, steam railway tours, a great selection of cafes and restaurants, wineries, antiques and local shopping. For a day out, drive to Ocean Grove or Barwon Heads or take a ferry trip across the bay to Sorrento and Portsea. Children and adults will also enjoy the nearby mini golf, mazes and Adventure Park in Wallington. For a longer trip, POint Lonsdale & Queenscliff are a great starting point for a tour the Great Ocean Road.
We are helping to keep our guests safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, allowing a minimum of 24 hours between bookings. We have also implemented contactless key collection and key drop off to further promote safe distancing. In addition, the property owners will provide extra cleaning and disinfecting products should you wish to use them during your stay.
With the current Covid 19 regulations we are required to obtain contact details - names, addresses and mobile numbers - of all occupants who do not reside in your residence.
If you are unable to travel due to Government covid travel restrictions we will either move your booking to dates of your selection when you are able to travel or provide you with a refund of the tariff paid.
This property does NOT accept pets.
Linen and bathroom towels are provided at this property.
This property has a $2500 security bond requirement. Your credit card details will be retained as the Security Bond. We have a policy (please refer to our T's & C's) that properties cannot be booked by people under the age of 24 years.
**Please be aware that wifi signals in the Queenscliff & Point Lonsdale areas can at times be very weak, particularly in high peak holiday season. QCHB do not accept any responsibility on the speed or reliability of internet connections. Dongle hire is available from our office if required.
