Australiana meets California- this home has got all the vibes you could want for a summer holiday or winter retreat. Santa Monica has a gorgeous set up! Fully enclosed behind a high fence and under the shade of a lovely old Moonah Tree. This home has loads of ambience and we are sure everyone will enjoy staying at this well equipped holiday home. With 3 bedrooms - main has a queen bed, nobo panel heater, ceiling fan, WIR and ensuite; 2nd bedroom - has a double bed; and the 3rd bedroom - has a set of children's single bunks with a single trundle, plus a fold out single bed for any last minute guests. The bunks and trundle are only suitable for children, not adults.
The outdoor entertaining area is in the secluded front yard behind the privacy of the high corrugated fence and under the gorgeous moonah tree that we are sure will be a main attraction for the youngsters. The under cover bbq area is a great spot for a summer, with an outdoor setting seating 8 and of course a great bbq. You can sit on the front deck and enjoy a quiet drink whilst watching the kids - it's a beautiful shaded area so would be wonderful on the hottest summer day or if your holiday falls in the cooler months, you'll be warm as toast near the wood fire whilst kids busily play with board games.
The lounge offers 2 couches, a TV, DVD, R/C air conditioner plus a wood heater (a started pack of red gum is supplied, if guests require more during their stay they can source it at the local service station at their own expense) and is open plan to the funky dining setting. The renovated kitchen is well equipped and has elec. cooker, dishwasher, microwave and many small appliances including toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster etc. The laundry has a front loading washing machine, and the main bathroom features a bath with a shower over it, whilst the toilet is separate. There is a double garage if you need to get the cars off the street.
Santa Monica is located in a quiet street and in close proximity to Emily pond & Lake Victoria (dogs will love it!) not to mention a short stroll to the beach.
We are helping to keep our guests safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, allowing a minimum of 24 hours between bookings. We have also implemented contactless key collection and key drop off to further promote safe distancing. In addition, the property owners will provide extra cleaning and disinfecting products should you wish to use them during your stay.
Dogs are permitted at this property for an additional $33.00 fee per pet. Please also bring your own dog bedding, bowls, towels etc. The owners ask that dogs are not allowed on furniture and to please pick up any doggie poos before you leave. If you require specific conditions at the property for your dog, such as secure fencing, please ring our office to discuss prior to booking.
Linen is not provided at this property but if required, can be added for an extra fee: or, you can bring your own sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels, bath mats & tea towels.
The bedding configuration is:
The main bedroom has a king sized doona (for a queen bed); the 2nd bedroom has a queen size (for a double bed); and the rest are single sized doona inserts for the 2 x single bunks, 1 x trundle, & 1 x otooman pullout.
Linen hire is available from our office but needs to arranged at least one week in advance. Linen packs cost $50.00 per pack per bed without bedmaking, or $75 with bedmaking.
HOW TO PAY FOR ANY EXTRAS:
If a fee needs to be paid separately because your booking has come through to our office from a portal such as Airbnb, booking.com, vrbo or homeaway/stayz, our office will need to provide you with our direct bank account details to pay the money into. If the booking is through our website direct, guests can choose this extra at the time of booking or call our office to ask to have the fee added to the tariff.
