SANTA MONICA - Give me a home among the Moonah Trees!

Australiana meets California- this home has got all the vibes you could want for a summer holiday or winter retreat. Santa Monica has a gorgeous set up! Fully enclosed behind a high fence and under the shade of a lovely old Moonah Tree, this home has loads of ambience and we are sure everyone will enjoy staying at this well equipped holiday home. With 3 bedrooms - main has a queen bed, nobo heater, ceiling fan, WIR and ensuite, 2nd has a double and the 3rd has a set of bunks with a trundle plus a fold out single bed for any last minute overnight guests.

The outdoor entertaining area is in the secluded front yard behind the privacy of the high corrugated fence and under the gorgeous moonah tree that we are sure will be a main attraction for the youngsters. The under cover bbq area is a great spot for a summer bbq with an outdoor setting seating 8 and of course a great bbq. You can sit on the front deck and enjoy a quiet drink whilst watching the kids - it's a beautiful shaded area so would be wonderful on the hottest summer day or if your holiday falls in the cooler months, you'll be warm as toast near the wood fire whilst kids busily play with board games.

The lounge offers 2 couches, a TV, DVD, R/C air conditioner plus a wood heater and is open plan to the funky dining setting. The renovated kitchen is well equipped and has elec. cooker, dishwasher, microwave and many small appliances including toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster ect. The laundry has a front loading washing machine and the main bathroom features a bath with a shower over whilst the toilet is separate.

Well behaved dogs are welcome and there is a double garage if you need to get the cars off the street.

Santa Monica is located in a quiet street and in close proximity to Emily pond & Lake Victoria (dogs will love it!) not to mention not a far stroll to the beach.

Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race is a pro event being staged in Geelong and the Surf Coast for the fifth consecutive year in January 2019. Thousands of elite cyclists will be in Geelong this summer to be part of the third Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race - expected to be bigger and better than the previous events! Consisting of the 174km Elite Men’s Race, which in a coup for the event, has secured a place on the coveted UCI WorldTour racing calendar (2017-2019), announced by world cycling’s governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and 113km Elite Women’s Race (also endorsed with an official UCI classification). Riders will travel from the Geelong Waterfront to Barwon Heads, Torquay and return. There's also an open participation event - the Swisse People's Ride, enabling approx. 4,000 cyclists to ride the course. There are 65km and 111km courses again, plus the introduction of a new, shorter course - 35km. Festival of Sails

With over 15 different race series catering from the highest performance Grand Prix racers to trailable cruisers, the varied race action is sure to offer something for everyone, and spectators will certainly not be disappointed. First held in 1844, the Festival of Sails is Victoria's oldest ongoing sporting event, and the largest annual keel boat regatta in the Southern Hemisphere. For those not competing on-water, there is plenty of shore-side excitement taking place with over 100,000 people flocking to the stunning Waterfront Geelong over the Australia Day holiday period to be part of the excitement. The Fireworks Extravaganza will take place on the Geelong Waterfront on Australia Day, 26 January 2019.
