Bluey's Queenscliff - A Cosy Renovated Cottage by the Harbour and New Marina.
Named after an iconic fisherman well known to most locals, this lovely renovated fisherman's cottage is small and charming and now offers free unlimited wifi. With a cosy three bedrooms it is located in the perfect holiday hot spot in the Fishermen’s Flats area of picturesque Queenscliff. Only a short walk to the harbour, ferry terminal, boat ramp, blues train and local eateries – its all super convenient but at the same time you have all the privacy in the world as Bluey’s is tucked away at the waters edge of Beach Street.
This gorgeous cottage carries the history of yesteryear but with recent renovations and contemporary furnishings guests will feel so at home, it will be a struggle to leave. It is an ideal for families with young children; with a SMALL living area and only ONE bathroom, is not suitable for 8 - 10 adults (bunks are only suitable for children) but it's lovely for a family to share and enjoy each other's company. It offers R/C aircon in all bedrooms and the living area.
The three bedrooms are configured as 2 x double beds in bedroom 1, 2 sets of singles bunks (children only) in bedroom 2, and 1 x queen bed in the main bedroom, sleeping a total of 6 adults, or if including children, 10 guests in total. The only bathroom is 2 way access from the main bedroom and hall. A separate powder room has just a toilet. The open plan living, kitchen and dining are beautifully furnished with a relaxed Hampton look and boasts loads of natural light. The back sunny west facing deck overlooks the bridge to Swan Island – perfect for long drawn out brunches or summer BBQ’s! The kitchen has all modern conveniences including a coffee machine (using ground coffee).
This is a dual access property which makes it ideal for guests with small boats wishing to utilize the nearby boat ramp, cyclists, or those requiring additional car parking. The golf course is just across the bridge and the harbour only a stones throw away.
We are helping to keep our guests safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, allowing a minimum of 24 hours between bookings. We have also implemented contactless key collection and key drop off to further promote safe distancing. In addition, the property owners will provide extra cleaning and disinfecting products should you wish to use them during your stay.
With the current Covid 19 regulations we are required to obtain contact details - names, addresses and mobile numbers - of all occupants who do not reside in your residence.
If you are unable to travel due to Government covid travel restrictions we will either move your booking to dates of your selection when you are able to travel or provide you with a refund of the tariff paid.
Pets are not permitted at Blueys.
Doonas and pillows are provided - however linen is not provided it can be added as an extra at the time of booking or you can bring your own sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels, bath mats & tea towels.
The bedding configuration is:
2 x Double beds, 1 x queen; 4 x singles. Doona sizes are - 3 queen and 4 single.
Linen hire is available from our office but needs to arranged at least one week in advance. Linen packs cost $50.00 per pack per bed without bedmaking, or $75 with bedmaking.
HOW TO PAY FOR ANY EXTRAS:
If a fee needs to be paid separately because your booking has come through to our office from a portal such as AirbNb, booking.com, vrbo or homeaway/stayz, our office will need to provide you with our direct bank account details to pay the money into. If the booking is through our website direct, guests can choose this extra at the time of booking or call our office to ask to have the fee added to the tariff.
