The Wanderer is a gorgeous three bedroom home with loads of natural light and a hint of scandi feel to it, making it a perfect destination for your holiday. It has a spacious open plan living and dining with northerly aspect facing a cosy outdoor courtyard – with no shortage of cheerful sunlight streaming through! The large kitchen forms the central hub of the house and provides an effortless flow for entertaining or casual clusters.

The bedding configuration consists of a king master suite on the ground level with gorgeous ensuite that includes bath and shower. Upstairs consists of a second bedroom with queen bed; and a third bedroom with 2 sets of single bunks suitable only for children. Bedroom 2 & 3 share a bathroom that has a shower and toilet. The laundry facilities are located in the garage and include a front loader washing machine & dryer.
Reverse-cycle air conditioning in the main living and ceiling fans in each bedroom, plus gas heating, provide excellent climate control for all seasons. There is also unlimited wi-fi and Netflix available at this property.

The outdoor area provides a fully secured and private courtyard space which is moderate in size, and perfect for families with young children. The garage is used as a rumpus room and has a table tennis table and TV making it a great space for the kids. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

The Wanderer is located in a very quiet street in close proximity to Lake Victoria and only 1.5 km to Point Lonsdale town centre and is perfect for couples or families looking for a well appointed holiday home within a mid range budget. Please be aware the drive is narrow and long and the garage is converted into the rumpas room so there is no lock up carparking.


Pets:
Dogs are permitted at this property for an additional $33.00 fee per pet. Please also bring your own dog bedding, bowls, towels etc. The owners ask that dogs are not allowed on furniture and to please pick up any doggie poos before you leave. .If you require specific conditions at the property for your dog, such as secure fencing, please ring our office to discuss prior to booking.

We are keeping our guests safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in. We have also implemented contactless key collection to further promote safe distancing.

Linen:
Linen is not provided at this property but if required, can be added for an extra fee: or, you can bring your own sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels, bath mats & tea towels.
The bedding configuration is:
1 x King: 1 x queen; 4 x singles.
Linen hire is available from our office but needs to arranged at least one week in advance. Linen packs cost $50.00 per pack per bed without bedmaking, or $75 with bedmaking.

HOW TO PAY FOR ANY EXTRAS:
If a fee needs to be paid separately because your booking has come through to our office from a portal such as AirbNb, booking.com, vrbo or homeaway/stayz, our office will need to provide you with our direct bank account details to pay the money into. If the booking is through our website direct, guests can choose this extra at the time of booking or call our office to ask to have the fee added to the tariff. Heating consists of reverse cycle and gas.

**Please be aware that wifi signals in the Queenscliff & Point Lonsdale areas can at times be very weak, particularly in high peak holiday season. QCHB do not accept any responsibility on the speed or reliability of internet connections. Dongle hire is available from our office if required.

Historical and Educational Guided Tours: Enjoy a rare opportunity to tour a 19th century coastal artillery fort and includes a visit to the ammunition magazines buried under the cliffs of Shortland's Bluff, & to gun emplacements which reveal the gun crew's amazing views of the RIP to protect Port Phillip from attack by enemy ships. Photos are allowed. Tours are Monday to Fridays: 11am; Saturday & Sunday's: 11am & 1.45pm. Over summer some extra times are added. Tours are guided and last 1.5 hours. However, during the first week of the month, as well as every second Thursday, The Q Train usually departs from and returns to Queenscliff station.
