Built in 2017 Dreamlands is a wonderful architecturally designed home in a fabulous location in Old Lonsdale a 2 minute stroll to the back surf beach, the front bay beach and shops.
You don't find too many homes in this location, it's new and a very high standard. Look at the holiday lifestyle on offer. AMAZING. Dreamlands is situated on a large block with an abundance of space for that game of cricket or a kick of the footy. Dreamlands includes surfboards, boogie boards, a Stand up Paddle Board, bikes, tennis rackets, cricket set. So much that will make so many memories you can cherish forever.
Dreamlands has all the modern cons, ducted heating and airconditioning (zoned upstairs and down), wifi, Foxtel, Apple TV, Netflix and you can bring your well behaved pooch, but be aware there isn't any front fencing, its a super private location nestled in the ever popular Old Lonnie behind a wild ti-tree nature strip. This is truly 'Old Lonsdale" at its finest.
It is a large family home with 5 bedrooms, the master brm has a balcony, beautiful ensuite, large robe and ceiling fan and a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom also has a Queen bed, robes and a ceiling fan, the 3rd bedroom has a double bed, robe and ceiling fan, the 4th bedroom has a set of bunks and the 5th bedroom also has a set of bunks, please be aware these are children's bunks which are not suitable for adults.. There are 2 children's trundles/mattresses that can be utilised for kids sleepovers. There is also a study and a children's rumpus room with a foseball table.
Downstairs has beautiful floor boards through out, large glass sliding doors that open up to a wonderful outdoor living area and that huge lawn seems to go forever, so it's ideal for a great game of cricket or just for the kids to have a good run & play. The lounge is furnished with quality furnishings, TV, wood fireplace (bring your own wood) and the dining area offers a table that easily seats 14, a wonderful open kitchen with induction hob, elec oven, dishwasher and microwave. There are coffee plungers so you need to bring your favourite ground coffee! Or just wander up the street for your coffee fix! And there is a piano for a bit of a singalong. There is a good sized laundry with front loading washing machine & dryer, a powder room and direct access to the garage. The garage has a table tennis table, wetsuits, surfboards and heaps of games, sun umbrella and so much more. In addition there is a netball ring, trampoline and a doggie kennel. The bbq is at the rear of the house, plus there is a clothes line down the side and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Just the thing after that early morning surf or just after building sandcastles at the beach.
Please Note - cars are not permitted on the Lawn Area, they are to be left in the driveway or on the front street. As there is central hydronic heating Dreamlands does not provide wood for the open fire, if you wish to use the open fire you will need to provide your own fire wood. Thank you.
The tariff covers upto 3 couples (6 adults) and 4 children. Any variation will result in extra charges - eg extra occupants will be $100 per person per night.
Dogs that are well behaved are permitted but be aware that there isn't any fencing at the front of the property.
Dogs are permitted at this property for an additional $33.00 fee per pet. Please also bring your own dog bedding, bowls, towels etc. Dogs are also not permitted on the furniture.
Linen is not provided at this property but if required, can be added for an extra fee: or, you can bring your own sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels, bath mats & tea towels. The bedding configuration is: 2 x Queen 1 x Double 4 x Single. There is an adult booking limitation of up to 8 adults, if you wish to have more adults this may be permitted on application and there would be a 10% surcharge per additional adult. Linen hire is available from our office but needs to arranged at least one week in advance. Linen packs cost $50.00 per pack per bed without bedmaking, or $75 with bedmaking.
HOW TO PAY FOR ANY EXTRAS:
If a fee needs to be paid separately because your booking has come through to our office from a portal such as AirbNb, booking.com, vrbo or homeaway/stayz, our office will need to provide you with our direct bank account details to pay the money into. If the booking is through our website direct, guests can choose this extra at the time of booking or call our office to ask to have the fee added to the tariff. Your credit card details will be retained as a Security Bond. The Security Bond is $1000 plus $200 per dog.
A pre-arrival email will be sent 1 week prior to your arrival with various housekeeping info including key collection.
**Please be aware that wifi signals in the Queenscliff & Point Lonsdale areas can at times be very weak, particularly in high peak holiday season. QCHB do not accept any responsibility on the speed or reliability of internet connections. Dongle hire is available from our office if required.
