CHAFFEY - A Lovely Quirky Historic Home with spa, in the heart of town.

This sweet little cottage is in central Queenscliff, just 2 minutes to the shopping village, cafes and restaurants. The front sitting room has a gas wood fire, original timber floors and all the beautiful architectural features from the late 1800's, it also has a divan that folds out to a queen sized bed so it can be used for extra sleeping. There are 3 small bedrooms, the main has a queen bed, heater and ensuite. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and is accessed through the bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a set of bunks that can sleep children or adults and a selection of children's toys. The bathroom has a separate bath, shower & vanity. The toilet is separate. A top loader washing machine in the laundery allows for washing to be done if needed and there is a clothes line outside. The back part of the house is a modern extension which links to the front with a lovely atrium breezeway - wonderful for catching the summer evening cooling breezes. There are many beautiful features throughout the house - original bricks and timber from an old pier feature in the hall. Then the house opens up to a lovely large light filled extension with open plan kitchen and living area. Glass doors allow the area to flow to the fabulous courtyard deck and spa. What a wonderful spot to entertain friends or just unwind peacefully on your own. The well equipped kitchen has a nautical style with a gas stove, electric oven and Miele dishwasher. There is a large Open Fire Place and the owners will provide a starter pack of firewood. If you would like to use it for the duration of your stay you will need to provide the extra wood. There is a reverse cycle airconditioner in this area which is used for normal everyday heating and cooling. The dining table seats 8 and the lounge has a large TV. An electric sunblind provides some protection on those really hot sunny days.

The spa is outside under it's cover and there is an outside shower to wash off any sand before you go into the house or spa. The outdoor setting is for 8 and there is also a gas BBQ and sun umbrella.
The side car access is shared with the property next door and the gate needs to be kept closed. Parking is for 1 car but the owners find it easier to leave their cars parked out the front.

PETS:
Well behaved dogs are welcome but the owners would prefer them not to be in any bedrooms. Please bring your own doggie beds and check our terms and conditions. Dogs are permitted for an additional $33 fee per pet. If you require specific conditions at the property for your dog, such as secure fencing, please ring our office to discuss prior to booking.

Linen:
Linen is not provided at this property but if required, can be added for an extra fee: or, you can bring your own sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels, bath mats & tea towels. The bedding configuration is: 2 x queen and 4 x singles. Linen hire is available from our office but needs to arranged at least one week in advance. Linen packs cost $50.00 per pack per bed without bedmaking, or $75 with bedmaking.

HOW TO PAY FOR ANY EXTRAS:
If a fee needs to be paid separately because your booking has come through to our office from a portal such as AirbNb, booking.com, vrbo or homeaway/stayz, our office will need to provide you with our direct bank account details to pay the money into. If the booking is through our website direct, guests can choose this extra at the time of booking or call our office to ask to have the fee added to the tariff. Please contact admin@qchb.com.au if you would like to make any further enquiries.

Your credit card details will be retained as a Security Bond.

**Please be aware that wifi signals in the Queenscliff & Point Lonsdale areas can at times be very weak, particularly in high peak holiday season. QCHB do not accept any responsibility on the speed or reliability of internet connections. Dongle hire is available from our office if required.

The Rip Swim

The exciting Rip Swim returns for it's 6th season. (DATE TO BE CONFIRMED). The project has 4 crosiing dates this season to allow more opportunities for crossing this notorious stretch of water. Each crossing will hvae up to 4 groups of 6 swimmers. 7 December, 5 & 20 January and 3 February. Come down and cheer these brave swimmers in at the POint Lonsdale pier!!
