Castaway is a hidden treasure that will delight you with it's ambience and comfort. Set up to make your stay comfortable and memorable with beautiful furnishings and decor throughout, it has 2 large living areas providing lots of space for you to spread out, both are modern with quality furnishings, comfy couches, smart TV's and wifi. The main living area has a large R/C airconditioner and the house has the comfort of gas ducted heating for when it's cooler. Glass sliding doors provide great access to the back sundeck and yard, the deck has an undercover area for the bbq and great space to enjoy outdoor living, the yard offers nooks and crannies to explore with your fur baby.
The kitchen is fully equipped and functional and has an elec cooktop and oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge plus all the usual appliances you would expect. It links to the dining area and there are additional bar stools at the kitchen bench, glass doors access a sunny sitting nook with adirondack chairs to be able to enjoy finishing that book you've been trying to get to for so long, away from others if desired.
The main bathroom has a separate bath, vanity and shower - the toilet is separate.
There are 4 bedrooms - the main has a king sized bed and ensuite with toilet, shower and vanity, the 2nd and 3rd both have queen beds and the 4th has 2 x king singles (with double sized doonas) with a trundle.
The laundry has a top loader washing machine, dryer, fold out ironing board and a doggie door should you wish to have your pooch use it.
Situated behind a secure high front fence the front yard also provides space for perhaps enjoying your morning coffee with an outdoor setting on artificial grass within the garden area. Castaway boasts lovely gardens and is really well fenced for your furbaby or littlies, there are several different areas you can control outdoor access with gates that can be left open for full access or closed off if required. The owners have thoughtfully prepared Castaway for holiday enjoyment whilst still being able to bring your fur baby.
Only a few meters to the Lonnie Golf Club which is currently undergoing a major transformation and when finished will be sensational! The back surf beach and front bay beach are both within walking distance, there is also a children's park not too far away.
Please note the garage is not available however you are able to have 1 car off the street behind the gates.

We are helping to keep our guests safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, allowing a minimum of 24 hours between bookings. We have also implemented contactless key collection and key drop off to further promote safe distancing. In addition, the property owners will provide extra cleaning and disinfecting products should you wish to use them during your stay.

Linen and towels are not supplied, you can add linen hire/bedmaking as an extra when placing a booking or you can bring your own.
There is an additional $33 doggie fee - per dog, per stay - if bringing your furbaby and extra terms and conditions which are on our website.

Historical and Educational Guided Tours: Enjoy a rare opportunity to tour a 19th century coastal artillery fort and includes a visit to the ammunition magazines buried under the cliffs of Shortland's Bluff, & to gun emplacements which reveal the gun crew's amazing views of the RIP to protect Port Phillip from attack by enemy ships. Photos are allowed. Tours are Monday to Fridays: 11am; Saturday & Sunday's: 11am & 1.45pm. Over summer some extra times are added. Tours are guided and last 1.5 hours. Tour prices vary from $7 to $15.00.Cash is payable at the door, and photo Identification is required for adults.

However, during the first week of the month, as well as every second Thursday, The Q Train usually departs from and returns to Queenscliff station.
