Queenscliff & Coastal Holidays are Booking Agents not Property Managers.
If a maintenance & repair issue arises whilst a guest is in residence that will affect their stay, QCHB will need to deal with this swiftly with prior consultation with the owner, if possible.
If a maintenance & repair issue is non urgent, and will not affect a current guests stay, it is an owners responsibility to attend. For owners that do not frequent their property a lot and/or do not have a family member, friend or other contact that can manage the job on your behalf, QCHB will facilitate the non urgent maintenance / repair issue however additional charges will apply depending on call outs, time frames & the complexity of the issue.
To assist owners in dealing with maintenance issues promptly, below is a TRADE DIRECTORY of local recommended trades.
HELPFUL TIPS:
- If the repair is concerning an appliance, ensure you have the make & model of the appliance handy
- Make sure you check your booking calendar before scheduling traddies to attend to avoid unpleasant surprises whilst a guest is in
- If the job spans over a length of time, ensure you block your calendar with an owner booking or contact our office to place one for you.
- QCHB can facilitate traddie access to your property. Advise your traddie that they contact our office by phone or email and we will discuss access arrangements with them.
- Advise traddie to email invoice to admin@qchb.com.au if you wish the expense to appear on your statement for taxation purposes.
- Should a household item need to be replaced, we recommend appliancesonline.com.au for competitive prices and free delivery and also remove old appliance (subject to type of appliance)
- A contact marked with ” * ” is a preferred contact used by QCHB on a regular basis and may be familiar with your property.
